About Diwali — दीपों का त्योहार
What is Diwali?
Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is the most celebrated Hindu festival of lights. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
The five-day festival includes Dhanteras, Choti Diwali, Lakshmi Puja, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj. Homes are decorated with diyas, rangoli, and colorful lights.
In 2026, Diwali falls on Thursday, 29 October 2026. Dhanteras is on 27 October and Bhai Dooj on 31 October.
Why Diwali is Special
